Ann Arbor is currently under a laxative effect of anxiety as the Terrelle Pryor decision closes within 18 hours. We know what we did just about two weeks ago… jack shit. The toss-up remains, Michigan or Ohio State. Hopefully the basketball team didn’t blow another opportunity to impress Pryor when they went head to head with the Buckeyes in Columbus tonight and lost 65-55.
The silence is cause for worry though. If Pryor was coming to Michigan, I feel like we would have known by now. Some sort of information would have leaked. Can he really be lying in bed undecided tonight with his announcement coming tomorrow? Michigan may have to prepare for the worst.
Pryor or no Pryor, Michigan will still produce a great football squad. With the way Rodriguez runs his offense, we may be able to run a variety of guys at the quarterback position. Before Chad Henne and Ryan Mallet, Michigan never played true freshmen at the quarterback position, we may not need another. It’s hard to believe we’ve sucked this guy’s cock for over a month and there’s a strong possibility he’s about to become Public Enemy #1. Time will tell.
Update: It seems Pryor will in fact not be announcing his decision today. It seems lying in bed undecided wasn't a good feeling for him. The wait continues...
In Plan B news, Michigan is expected to pick up a mobile QB from Florida, Justin Feagan. He's only a 3-star recruit, but it's reported that he'll get a shot at the quarterback position. If he doesn't win the spot he'll play as a slot receiver.

I wouldn't call it "reliable" but hey it's something Posted 02/05/2008 8:17 PMReply

P.S Ever hear of Sam McGuffie? We're also getting some WR in this years class. And Matthews should do fine in a spread offense where he'll have room to run. And its Kevin Grady who's a walking corpse. Why his mother only put one letter between the two of them I'll never know.
Again, Michigan produce a great squad. Will they win the big ten? probably not. But I wouldn't see the Alamo or Outback Bowl as a bad outcome for a rebuilding season. Posted 02/06/2008 06:04 AMReply
