Michigan Does All It Can to Discredit Ohio State

Appalachian State's Quarterback

Appalachian State. Ever heard of it? You probably wouldn't have guessed that it was in North Carolina. You also probably wouldn't have guessed that they would beat Michigan 34-32. This is just another chapter filed under "Michigan Sucks" and "Goodbye Lloyd Carr" (he must really want to lose his job).

So what does this mean for Ohio State? It means doubt and uncertainty. OSU may not go undefeated, but now, even doing so might not even guarantee a championship game. Michigan's loss could cost the Buckeyes a trip to glory town, and it ruins the possibility of another 1-2 matchup in Ann Arbor.

Confused how the Buckeyes could go undefeated and not make the championship game? Think USC and SEC. If USC and someone in the SEC (Florida or LSU) goes undefeated, Michigan's loss to Appalachian State will come up over and over again, and the Big Ten will be downplayed as an overrated conference.

It's unbelievable that Michigan found a way to screw over OSU without even playing us. Ridiculous.
