As the semester winds down, many freshmen are worrying about grades and finals. The smart freshmen, however, are considering switching to a better dorm for next semester. For those few bright ones, here's a ranking of the best dorms to switch into:

(Note: This list assumes you've already figured out that a switch to South Campus is the smart move. Therefore, only South Campus dorms will be listed).

1) Ann Arundel-Air conditioning, a beautiful lounge, and carpeted rooms. You really can't go wrong here. Good luck getting in though. Nobody switches out.

2) Worcester-Tough call between Worcester and Queen Anne's but the massive rooms and party atmosphere are worth it. Also, a ton of openings every semester.

3) Queen Anne's-You get air conditioning and you have the North Hill desk there, so no need to travel for packages or change for the laundry.

4) Somerset-Air conditioning but usually impossible to get into.

5) Caroline/Carrol-There's really no difference between the two. Not worth a switch unless you hate North Campus.

6) Wicomico-I wouldn't move from a barn to this dorm.
