Unfortunately for our street cred, their is a  NorthwesternU channel on YouTube. And it's painful. But what could we really expect from a school sponsored website?

Most of the posted videos (and by most, I mean about 80 of 88) are super boring - full length lectures, some symphony stuff, an opera or three. However, on page 2 or 3 of the listed videos, you start to find the whole collection of Northwestern promotional videos, which becomes at least slightly entertaining.

You've already been alerted to this nerdtastic promo video, but they only get worse. The fact that at least four videos mention "lifelong friendships" as a reason to come here is alarming, as if the University is saying, "No, seriously. Some of our students have friends. Seriously."

Who the eff MADE these things? Do they not realize we have a ton of more-than-capable film students that could have done these better and cheaper?
