A tipster has sent us this article that just ran in the Gainsville Sun. Apparently, they have identified a NU undergrad who recently got into the University of Florida's College of Medicine without committee approval.

The dean let the kid in because he thought he was "exceptional." Read: family wealth, political connections, perfect example of NU's creme de la creme. The student's family gave lots of money to the Florida governor, who then wrote a letter to the school on the student's behalf.

Is anyone surprised, though? We are at NU, our daddies' money can get us anywhere! Yay, nepotism!
