"I believe in a future full of hope, specifically I'm hopeful you'll get the **** out of this race."
As if we ever needed further reasons to hate Ohio and Texas, they've screwed us again by extending the god-forsaken ordeal that is our primary election process even further. That's right, after 12 straight wins, Barack Obama lost to Hilary Clinton in both Texas (48% to 51%) and Ohio (44% to 54%). A win in either of these for Obama would have cast serious doubt on Clinton's political future, and if he won both, this damn thing would be over.
But no, leave it to Ohio and Texas to vote for one the most polarizing, disliked people in the country, someone whose nomination the Republicans get down on their knees and pray for every night for because they know she'll lose in the general election. My benevolent employer, The Michigan Daily just wrote an opinion column called "Give This Bitch a Chance" (seriously) which pretty much sums up everything I hate about her supporters. No, I'm not a misogynist just because I don't like self-proclaimed "bitches," just like it wouldn't make me a feminist because I hate ****s (*cough* Mitt Romney).
I've been watching this circus on CNN religiously for the past two months because the for the first time ever, I found myself *gasp* caring about politics. But at this point, with another seven weeks until the next significant contest, I'm putting a moratorium on election bullshit until they all get their heads out of their asses.
In case you can't tell, Johnny Quest officially endorses Barack Obama for president. That should be enough to put him over the top.
