i pulled it from things being important....that was my whole point...we should be talking about things that are important...and not trying to make the girls at this school something they are in general not...HOT...instead if we want people to give UM girls or guys for that matter any respect why don't you go out and find the solution or even use your brain to get an idea about how to solve the current economical issues like the subprime and housing crisis? Or how our admissions is motivated to balance the student body when the smartest and most capable applicants should be admitted...not just because they are immigrants or black or white for that matter....everyone wants to get away from the big picture where people with 4.0 gpa's in high school and a 30 on the ACT aren't admitted b/c their spot was given to someone with a 2.8GPA and a 17 ACT just because they are of a certain ethnic group....this school is retarded

JQ i'm all for having a good time but this is just not a good idea. You're wasting your precious time writing about stuff like this. You know as well as every other person at this school that we shouldn't have made that list. It's just how it is. As it was beautifully quoted in Superbad when discussing going to a "lesser school" than Dartmouth...'The girls there are half as smart and thus twice as likely to fallaash me..."....girls here are twice as smart as anywhere and thus half as likely to even care about looking halfway decent

Regarding the affirmative action issue:
If you have a 4.0 in HS and over a 30 on your ACT, there's no doubt that you'll get into Michigan. If you don't get in it's not because some blackie took your spot, if you didn't get in with stats like that then you messed it up by doing something else (Crime charges, whatev). I know plenty of non-minorities who had less than average stats in highschool that still got in (Example: 23 ACT 3.6 GPA).

here's an idea for you, tool (or toolette, if female). yes, we should all get out there and sell ****ing girl scout cookies and donate the proceeds to families who can't make their mortgage payment because THEY got greedy, bought a house on an ARM that was 4 times their conventional mortgage monthly payment. Then firms like Bear Stearns, who buy this shit debt from Fannie and Freddie, FHA, and Ginnie, by leveraging their companies assets to the hills (30 times the company's assets), are suddenly stunned when they don't "know the price of some of these MBS." Oh, but then it gets worse because the companies that insure this debt are going bust, thus causing a snowball effect on all counterparties involved. No need to worry, because the Fed will drop the discount and Fed funds rate as much as they can while auctioning off billions of gov't debt to essentially put out a house fire by pissing on it.

Sounds a little complex? That's cuz it is. And writing down notes on how to fix it while jerking it (or flicking your bean, if female), is an exercise in futility.
