In a couple of weeks, everyone in the world with access to Google will be able to poke you as hard as they like. Not that you weren't being poked by your fair share of strange men in the first place. But this time, you have Facebook to blame. According to this ominous message on the fbook homepage, your profile will be archived and findable on standard search engines.

This comes on the heels of the news that Facebook retains the right to sell your interests and information, catche data from deactivate profiles, and gather info on you from third-party sources (including blogs and IM programs). Don't mind that clatter. It's just the well-fed ponies of the corporate apocalypse trampling all over your private citizenship. What next, Zuckerberg? Are we going to wake up and find you in bed with us?
