Playboy U, Playboy's response to Facebook and MySpace, has entered the social networking cluster****.

According to a spokesman, however, there aren’t even naked women on it; the big draw is supposed to be that high schoolers and old people can’t join.

Unfortunately for Hugh Hefner, most of us are on social network overload--who wants to join a new one, learn to navigate a different site, and create a new profile, when Facebook/MySpace already have it all?

Here’s predicting Playboy U goes the way of xuqa.com, which was certainly risqué in all they ways Playboy U promises not to be (recall the infamous picture of a certain UNC student bent over a bed, a red handprint on her ass, and man's torso positioned in a way it was difficult to tell which unenforceable sexual decency state law she was breaking).

If that online orgy (also college student-only) is falling by the wayside, can Playboy sans sex really stand a chance?
