PORTER WINS THE HOBEY!!!

PORTER WINS THE HOBEY!!!
There is justice in the world! Kevin Porter couldn't help the Wolverines win the National Championship, but he did lead them to the Frozen Four and by doing so was awarded with college hockey's version of the Heisman, the Hobey Baker.

Porter averaged 1.48 points per game and led all of college hockey in goals with 33 this season. He is only the second Wolverine ever to win the award (Brendan Morrison did it in 1997).

In Michigan's first Frozen Four appearance since 2003, Porter had an assist in his team's 5-4 overtime loss to Notre Dame.

Congrats Kevin!!!

KP is the man.
Can't wait to see him play with linemate Chad Kolarik for the Pheonix Coyotes next year under the direction of Wayne "The Great One" Gretzky
