An unusually large crowd made its way to Crisler Arena today for reasons other than watching the basketball team drop to a 5-13 record. Rumors of Mr. Pryor’s attendance were confirmed when he walked in a few minutes into the first half. The crowd came to its feet and began a “We Want Pryor” chant within the next few minutes. There was excessive cheering when the scoreboard showed Ohio State losing in basketball and then a “Come to Michigan” chant began. Someone managed to sneak a sign in (pictured above) before it was quickly taken by Crisler employees who were aware of the recruitment violation it posed. The final push came when the cheerleaders grouped together and did a pyramid in front of him. The blonde at the top motioned and cheered “We love you”.

It’s hard to gauge Terrelle’s feelings about all of the cheers and chanting because he was busy text messaging for about 75% of the game. That’s probably a good thing seeing as how the basketball team should never be used to recruit football players ever again. One can only hope that Rich Rodriguez offers a night with his wife as the final incentive for Pryor to join Maize Nation--because the basketball team ****ing blew it.
