Friday night, the Swim Club hosted their annual "Shorties and 40s" party at their house on Chestnut, only a brisk walk from the bars.  The invitation said it all: "Enjoy a classy evening at the Chestnut Inn with your friends and over 200 40s."  There was also punch  for those who couldn't handle Big Bear, and a keg for those who were interested in the usual party games (beer pong, flip cup).

Determined to give off that white trash vibe, the Swim Club boys urged their guests to come in appropriate attire.  Beaters, jean shorts, and mullets were popular choices of apparel among the party goers.

The party was welcoming right from the door, with a test tube shot of kamikaze for each entering guest.  Though, it only got better from there.  With a DJ, a dance floor, and a stripper's pole in the basement, everyone was feeling the rhythm, from the beer pong players, to those playing flip cup off the diving board.

As promised, the party went until six in the morning.  It was clear that everyone there had an awesome time.  It was definitely well worth the five dollar entrance fee.
