The Tears of Unfathomable Sadness

The Tears of Unfathomable Sadness
Yea, The Wolverines lost to the Mountaineers, no, not West Virgina...

For those of you without tickets to the Michigan games, no Big Ten network and no social life, you may not have heard. The Wolverines have lost to the relatively unknown Appalachian St Mountaineers. There were no home losses last season, so many students on campus have no idea how to cope with this tragedy. Here are a few options to help get this heavy pain off your chest.

Be Optimistic: So they lost a non-conference game, granted it was a team that had played in the 1-AA division, but non-conference nonetheless. Therefore, they can still win out and beat Ohio State, Michigan State, Penn State, Notre Dame, etc and win the Rose Bowl. The knock on Lloyd Carr from critics has been his poor record against OSU and in bowl games; they never said anything about Appalachian St.

Be Pessimistic: So the Wolverines have fulfilled their fate as choke artists, they suck. There are still 7 more home games to sell your tickets. Michigan's loss has decreased ticket values considerably, but you would still profit from the original price. You can also go to all of the pre-games, because it has been discovered that they are a hell of a lot better than the game itself.
