Friday classes at Michigan aren’t dreadful because of the long four days of class before it, but because you’re hung over. Freshman, it may seem odd to you at first, but Thursday is the best drinking night of the week, class or no class.

House parties, Greek mixers, clubs and bars are all great places to be on this special night. There’s no football game in the morning to wake up for like on Friday nights, and you don’t have to worry about doing all your homework the next day like on Saturdays.

So don’t let your psych discussion or chemistry lecture keep you from enjoying the best night of the week. Do you really pay that much attention in class anyway? Just look over the lecture slides later, ask a friend for some side notes and you’re set. Go out and enjoy the night--it only comes once a week.
