Tri Delt May Have Offered Pryor a Recruiting Bonus

Tri Delt May Have Offered Pryor a Recruiting Bonus
Truth? Lies? You decide.

Normally I don't report on rumors, because contrary to popular belief I am NOT Gossip Girl, but this is too good to pass up. I figure I'll use "allegedly" a lot and I'll be good to go.  Plus I'm getting more and more convinced this is true as time wears on.

The story is that during chapter at Tri Delt, they allegedly gave one of their young ladies an award because she allegedly had sex with Terrelle Pryor when he came here on his recruiting trip. Well, I'll just let them explain:

"Every week at chapter, someone gets the Outstanding Tridelt of the week award. This week it was given to one of the younger girls. One of our seniors asked what she did to win the award? Immediately, a group of girls started laughing and about 5 girls said at once "she slept with Pryor". But it is true... our chapter adviser was there, you could just ask her. Or you could just go looking for that paper plate award."

Now this is one of a number of tips I've recieved from people claiming to be both in the house or friends of those who are. One may ask why Tri Delt would admit to this on the OTR tipline, and the answer, of course, is that they want the press. And I'm more than happy to give it to them. I'm going to go ahead and believe this is true because:

A) I want it to be true.

B) It's Tri Delt, come on, they would. Plus, I'm getting multiple accounts of this from different people, and really, who would make this up? I even got a name, but don't worry, I'm not that much of a dick.

C) I seem to recall hearing a similar story a year ago, about a young Ryan Mallett, still in high school, who went to a Tri Delt crush party and ended up having sex with his date on the bus. Hmm.

Now if this is true, this opens up an interesting new question I heard in a comment yesterday. The logic is that to single Tri Delt out for this is sexist because "if Anna Kournikova came to campus and a frat guy had sex with her, wouldn't he get a medal?" I'd say more like a statue, but the point is well taken. As soon as that happens, believe me, I'll be writing about it, but until then I just have this to deal with.

So I'm expecting a avalanche of hate for this one even though I'm clearly using the word "allegedly."  To prove this 100% I'd either need sworn testimony or DNA evidence, neither of which I'm expecting. At this point I might as well throw it out there that if this is true and Pryor still hasn't committed, what does that say about the state of our Tri Delts? Discuss.
