Triple Threat Headline: Election, Graduation, Domination

Triple Threat Headline: Election, Graduation, Domination
National, local, and ultra-local news.

Three pretty major things happened the past few days, but I don't think they each warrant their own post. Here's the rundown:

- Mitt Romney won the Michigan Primary as he attempts to bring about change to the country by being the first robot President of the United States. But the bigger thing to notice in the primary was that Hilary Clinton narrowly defeated "Uncommitted." That's gotta be depressing. You're running unopposed, and you almost lose to NO ONE.  Equally depressing is having this be your first election you can vote in, and having to vote for no one. Thanks dumbass Michigan primary organizers.

- There may still be hope for a Michigan Stadium graduation yet. At a forum on Friday, U officials apologized to students for being complete douches about the planning and announcement of the Eastern graduation plan. But they say there are many problems to work out citing specifically a "decreased number of exits." Alright, how about we all wait patiently a little while to leave when its over, no one start any fires, and we'll be good to go. How is planning this that hard? Seriously.

- Thanks to all who have voted for Michigan OTR as US News and World Report's "Best Alternative Media." We were dominating at 77% yesterday, but I sat in class and watched the number tank to 55% in the two hours after Columbia figured out they were nominated. We need your help to beat all these elitist Ivy Leaguers so tell everyone you know to vote for us here. Voting doesn't end until the 31st so we have a long way to go. Thanks a lot.

Update: From a Columbia Commenter on Bwog: "I see that the UMichigan people have learned to drag their knuckles over a keyboard." Annd thanks for proving my point. We can't let this stand.
