Two NU Seniors Aim to Ban Cell Phones in Massachusetts?
According to this BostonNOW article from the other day, two Northeastern kids are in the process of reinterpreting a law that in theory makes a lot of sense.

Senior Matt Whalen and Kelly Seitz are following up on a Massachusetts bill that went through the House of Representatives last week. This bill would effectively ban texting and encourage hands-free cell phone devices.

Here's where Whalen and Seitz come in. The two worry that even with hands-free devices, drivers are more likely to lose control and less likely to pay attention behind the wheel. It's fair speculation -- but could any state really implement a ban on cellular devices? They're laying the groundwork for their research here -- but for now, it's an interesting concept and nothing more.
