University of Michigan's Best Bets, Part VIII: Dorm Food

University of Michigan's Best Bets, Part VIII: Dorm Food
Promote this post on Yahoo! Buzz

Well, best as best can be when it comes to dorm food...

News that’s in any way appealing comes rarely from Ann Arbor during Summer Term, so to spare you all from the reaching Ripe Produce stories that get a good deal of complaints, I’m opening up a Michigan OTR edition of The University of Michigan’s Best Bets. The best bets will ask and hopefully answer some questions that incoming freshman may have as they get ready to make their first impressions on campus. There will be a new topic to be voted on every day until I run out of ideas and get desperate like new seasons of Family Guy, running the earlier success into the ground. Get over it.

Post an answer in the comments if you don’t like the options and if others agree, it will be added to the options. If you guys have your own best bet questions you want to see put up feel free to send them in to the tip line and if they don’t suck I may use a few.

Part VIII:

Fortunate freshmen get housed in Central Campus and the less fortunate get stuck on North Campus. It sucks, but such is life. However, while your sleeping quarters may be out of your control, where you eat is completely up to you. Each dorm varies slightly in the food they offer and the hours that they are open. Therefore, the eighth question of Michigan’s Best Bets asks: Regardless of which one you live in, what dorm is the best to get your meals from?

West Quad

East Quad

South Quad

Markley

Stockwell

Lloyd

Barbour

Bursley

bursley and south quad have the bigest variety and selection, but the chicken brocolli bake tastes the same across all dorms

I've eaten in all dorms, but isn't MoJo's new dining hall going to be finished for the fall?

If there's any advice to be taken, avoid East Quad like the plague, unless you like eating vegan stewed imitation ****.

freshman. dont waste your meal credits at the cafeterias. go to your residence hall retail outlet like South quad's cafe conxion or Bursley's Blue Apple which serves amazing pizza. you use your meal credits there in place of your skipped meals at the cafteria.

I enjoy low expectations which can be thankfully attributed to Paul (JQ). For other comparisons see: Aaron Rodgers, Scottie Pippen, Pre-Super Bowl Eli Manning, and Rufio.
