Would The Real Bruce Springsteen Please Rock Out?
It's a testament to the enduring popularity of Bruce Springsteen that even some dude who vaguely sounds like him and sort of looks like his reflection in a funhouse mirror is still able to do national tours.

Amazingly enough, Bruce In The USA isn't even the most famous Springsteen cover act (besides those whose entire careers have been uncredited Springsteen cover acts, ahem, Jon Bon Jovi), but no one who sees them at the Paradise is going to care.

Sure, the venue is a shit hole (how many times have you ever seen a club with paint peeling off of the ceiling?), but it's a legendary shit hole, probably the most important building on campus, along with the Planned Parenthood and Shaw's.

And, anyway, why not go? In classic rock terms, even the worst Springsteen tribute band is better than, say, the actual Van Halen.

Besides, once you've got enough beer in you, it won't matter what Bruce it is. But, be careful: all the booze in the world isn't going to make your rendition of "Thunder Road" sound like it's in the right key.
