In recent news, various staff members who work through the Union at the University of Minnesota are preparing to go on strike.  

Despite the threatening toll of the word "strike" and its potential effect on the University, for some reason it can be assumed most students won't give a damn because in no way yet does it seem to affect us.  Maybe the floor wont be as clean, or the Baked Ziti in the cafeteria as baked, but hey, Chipolte is down the street and the floor is always dirty anyway.

Meh.
