The State Fair- A Downtrodden Tradition

The State Fair- A Downtrodden Tradition

Every year at the end of August, the citizens of the great state of Minnesota are subject to what is commonly referred to as The Minnesota State Fair.

If funnel cakes, mullets, fried bananas, and Zubas are your scene then this so-called "fair" is for you!  However, if you prefer not to smell like grease after dropping a minimum of $40 dollars on perishable items  and would rather not see the trash of the state convene in one location then steer clear of this place.

As a U of M student, you have prime transportation to access this hell-hole.  On the contrary, as a U of M student, you also have to bare the inconvenience of heavy traffic, limited parking, and pollution.

The fair will subside September 4th, so don't fret- all will be well soon lads and lassies, all will be well soon.
