In discussing Professor Finkel's fame in this month's Cosmo, a roommate brought the second most famous thing called Finkel to light: FinK.L., a Korean pop band from the late 90s.

Some sort of answer to the Spice Girls, FinK.L. stands for "Fine Killing Liberty", or basically stop killing liberty (the band's wikipedia page admits that the band name doesn't translate particularly well into English).

If only FinK.L. was named after Professor Finkel, Northwestern could finally have something to genuinely boast about besides Stephen Colbert.
