This is what the inside of ANGEL looked like Monday

Let's think about this for a second. What would be the absolute worst time for ANGEL to break down. How's about the first day of finals week. Hey, good call. If you were some poor soul that had to turn something into a professor through ANGEL anywhere between 3pm and 10:30pm Monday you were totally ****ed! And according to Penn State Live, "the situation has still not been fully resolved." Actually according to the ITS website, everything was back up by 10:39pm. Yippee!

According to Penn State Pravda, ANGEL was experiencing "degraded" service since around 3pm Monday. We picture someone was making ANGEL lick their shoes clean, or watch 2 girls 1 cup ... something real degrading.
 
One of the great lines in the press release is:  "To keep ANGEL's users informed, ITS has regularly updated the alert on its web page at https://cms.psu.edu/frames.aspx." But guess what, you couldn't get on ANGEL most of the time, so that did you no good.

If you were in the know, you could have checked out the Penn State ITS website which promised to "keep ANGEL's users informed, we will update this alert periodically (even if no new information is available) and as soon as new information is available." Not sure what they planned on updating if no info was available though.

So, yet another reason to hate Penn State's course management system. Btw, where is the "I Hate ANGEL" group on Facebook? Somebody get on that quickly!
