Canada's Got a Big Beef with Facebook, Eh?
Facebook dives into our lives - but we put them on there in first place, so it's not a big deal, right?

Canada doesn't think so. Canada's privacy commissioner is heading up an investigation into Facebook's marketing scheme (passing on information to advertisers without specific consent). It was actually students that originally filed the complaint, saying Facebook violates 21 different regulations under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

The students are concerned about Facebook using personal information without a disclaimer. They also pointed out how unfair it is for Facebook to save peoples' info, even after they've disabled their accounts.

And you thought all those weight-loss and study abroad ads on the side panel were a coincidence? Ha!
