Sick of the same thing every. Freaking. Year? Booze, fancy clothes, and those annoying little party blowers... ugh.

CoMo is having their First Night celebration - there will be (atypical... as in Cajun, jazz, swing) music all over downtown. And you're not spending $70+ for a formal shindig at some hall or bar... you can buy a button for $10 that night to get into everything.

Yeah, there will probably be a lot of families (i.e. cranky little stroller kids that don't usually stay up that late), but you never know. It could beat the usual New Year's Disappointment, eh?
