When West Virginia AND Missouri went down on Saturday, the whole world was shocked. The BCS system may not have been prepared for this giant shakeup. Immediately everyone believed Ohio State to be a lock, but who would they play? When the newest polls were released earlier today, it became quite clear.

With LSU receiving many first place votes and distancing itself from the rest of the pack, they seem to be the clear favorite. One source has already gone on record to pronounce the game as OSU vs. LSU.

What does this mean for OSU? Not only is it about a month and a half layoff from the Michigan game, but it's an away game. The BCS Championship game is in New Orleans, which is LSU's backyard. OSU will most certainly be an underdog to the chronically overrated LSU Tigers.
