Ever wandered by that place on Sixth on your way to Shiloh? And wondered how it ever stayed open when no one ever seemed to be in there? You probably at least thought about stopping in sometime for drink specials on your way to Trop's or McNally's...
Grill One-5 (why not "one-five?") is dead. The owners say it first opened as a cigar bar. Why didn't they keep it like that as long as they could? CoMo doesn't have anything like that now, and most likely won't with the smoking ban.
Never fear - all the usuals are still open and offering drink specials all summer long, even though the students have mostly taken off:
Shiloh: $3 Bud pitchers all day... and you can sit out on the patio (remember, it's moved to where the Colosseum used to be).
Heidelberg: Cheap pitchers and $4 Long Islands from 4pm to 7pm.
The Deuce: All beers on tap for $2.50 and Apple Jacks for $2 (if you haven't tried one, you should).
Willie's : $1 off all pints, bottles and mugs from 4pm to 7pm.
McNally's $1.50 domestic beers, $2.50 domestic pints.
