Baseball, jealous of all the media attention that swimming's mishaps have been getting in the past week, decided that it was time to turn out its own drug "shocker."

Alex Rodriguez, or A-Rod, the Yankees third baseman, tested positive for steroids...in 2003.

Rodriguez tested positive for two anabolic steroids in the same year he was the American League's MVP with the Texas Rangers, a source told Sports Illustrated. Rodriguez was one of 104 players who tested positive for performance enhancing drugs that year.

So what happens now? Well, if Phelps got a three-month suspension for possibly smoking marijuana, it is only right that baseball's leaders hop in a time machine, go back, and suspend Rodriguez for a year...right?
