Her mention of the “unintended message” sent by her costume provoked an unintended response: 50 comments appear on the DTH website, most of which variations on the theme “if you dress like a slut, expect people to treat you like one.” Harsh.

This also raises a question about online message boards. How many times do people have to repeat what other people have already said before they quit typing? The answer to that question may never be known.
