The Big Ten and their unwatched crappy new Network announced the kickoff times and TV arrangements for a couple more of Penn State's games for the 2008 season. Are you ready? Seriously, are you sitting down? If you're not, how do you normally check out the Internet? Weirdo. Anyway, here are the additional two teams you'll get to see on the Big Ten Network: Coastal Carolina and Temple!! Wait, what? Oh, and you're going to have to pay premium for that network in 2009. HAHA!

As I told you back when it was confirmed that the BTN would be on Comcast in about another month, you didn't have to worry about any good games showing up on the network. Already we knew that six of the games (including at Ohio State and the homecoming game against Michigan) would be on the ABC/ESPN networks, so it left only the bottom feeder games (Temple & Coastal Carolina) and part of the conference schedule. At this point the schedule, with times and networks, looks like this:

• 09/13 at Syracuse (3:30pm) ABC
• 09/20 Temple (noon) Big Ten Network
• 09/27 Illinois (8pm) ABC/ESPN/ESPN2
• 10/04 Purdue (n/a) n/a
• 10/11 at Wisconsin (8pm) ESPN/ESPN2
• 10/18 Michigan (4:30pm) ESPN/ESPN2
• 10/25 at Ohio State (8pm) ABC/ESPN/ESPN2
• 11/08 at Iowa (n/a) n/a
• 11/15 Indiana (n/a) n/a
• 11/22 Michigan State (n/a) n/a

The Big Ten also announced that the decision as to whether the Illinois and Ohio State games will end up on ABC might not be made until 12 days prior to the game. Also at least one additional conference game so one of those four remaining unannounced games will show up on BTN (Purdue, Iowa, Indiana or Michigan State).

It also should be pointed out that every Penn State home game over the last four years has been on TV and only 2 games of the last 166 overall weren't broadcast. So, it's a safe bet that all of those other games will show up somewhere.

That means just because your student tickets sold out in 90 seconds, you can still watch Penn State beat up on Coastal Carolina. I mean there's no shot in hell they would lose to a Division I-AA Football Championship Subdivision school, right?
