Truth be told, the vanilla Mercedes-Benz C63 is not an impressive-looking vehicle, and it certainly doesn’t compare to the RENNtech SLR 777 or the Barret-Jackson 2005 Saleen S7.

However, anything doused with gold-mirror-finish paint looks infinitely more badass, especially cars that are already prohibitively expensive.

If you somehow manage to win the lottery one day, there are reasons to splurge and pick up this United Arab Emirates import that costs roughly $82,000 dollars.

1. A gold-plated car tells envious onlookers that you have so much money that you simply don’t know what to do with it – and that you might consider painting your own skin if you could.
2. It shows that you don’t fear anyone or anything. A gold vehicle, more or less, has a red bull’s eye drawn on it for criminals; so, if you’re willing to drive around in it, chances are you are willing to stare into Death’s eyes and cackle maniacally.
3. You probably get laid a lot—even if you have to pay for it. [Note: Even if it’s not true, go with it.]

Aside from the implications of reason #3, why wouldn’t you buy a Gold C63? Then again, the money might be better spent gold-plating your mansion and the surrounding grounds.
