Since there was a lot buzz surrounding my snarky report of Clay Aiken's alleged fatherhood, I thought I'd update the OTR readership with the news that the spawn has hatched, or whelped, or whatever verb seems appropriate for this situation. 

Feel free to leave a comment accusing me of being rude, disrespectful, brainless, cruel, cultureless, etc.  I'm just calling 'em like I see 'em.

In more stimulating news, John Edwards has spoken out regarding his own alleged fatherhood, in fact denying that the child former staffer Rielle Hunter has given birth to as his own.  He has not yet, however, taken a paternity test.  

Make of that what you will.  I'll  be in the corner, smoking cigars and toasting the world's newest celebabies.
