College is unique in that rarely do your part time jobs offer any opportunities for your future. You're probably not going to put that you worked at your local dive bar for half a semester on your resume anyway. That's why it's the perfect time to pull all the stops and quit in style.

Sure, it's common courtesy to give two week's notice, but do you really care what your shitty boss is going to do between the time you quit and the time it takes them to find a replacement? The answer is no. So next time you get the urge to quit, go for it. 

If you work in a cubicle and all you've ever wanted to do is get on your desk and scream, now is the time. Stand tall and proud and yell at everyone within earshot that you hate your job and you've had it. The best part of this is that they'll probably have security escort you out. A legendary exit worthy of a slow clap.

If you work in the retail or food service industry, the plus side to quitting is that you have an intercom. So next time a customer pisses you off, dial the speaker and phone in your resignation. An added bonus is that you get to tell the customer off, because when you're no longer an employee, the customer is always wrong. 

Finally, a classic college way to quit is to do power hour right before you get into work and inform your boss that you're just there to get your things and throw up on his desk. 

No matter how you decide to quit, the important thing is to do it with a smile on your face. There's nothing like the warm fuzzy feeling you get when you tell the people you work for that they can go **** themselves and that you don't need this job anymore.
