It’s time for the DJ to get back in the booth. Even though school hasn't started, I’ve scooped up the juiciest scandals that steamed up this summer.
 

I’ll start with what happened to a bunch of seniors who decided to stay in EvIL this summer to finish off their leases. Although the setting is not as exotic, these kids still got themselves into quite a bit of trouble. It turns out that Evanston cops are just as douche-y even when school is not in session.
 

Like all good stories, this one starts with a party. A group of seniors decided to head to the lake to celebrate the 4th of July. After heavy drinking and terrorizing some friendly Evanston folks and their children, the cops were called and the seniors got kicked off the lake.
 

But the fireworks hadn’t even started, so the seniors decided to head back to their place on Simpson Street and continue the celebration. More people showed up, 2 kegs rolled up and a bigger party ensued. A few hours later, the same cops that had originally broken up the lake party showed up.

Apparently they had followed the seniors home to keep an eye out on our troublemakers. And what did the cops find inside? One blonde, wide-eyed 17-year-old drunken townie. And trust me, punishment for providing minors with alcohol is a bitch.
