Celebs to Start Courting College Coeds?

Celebs to Start Courting College Coeds?

NOTE: This was an April Fools' joke from Bi-Weekly. Apologies for the confusion.

Funny man Luke Wilson is dating a Bryn Mawr girl or so the gossip mill tells us. The Bi-College News has reported that Wilson has been spotted on the Bryn Mawr campus with an ‘Elle Woods’ all over him.

The BM gossip fiends are hard at work spying on the said couple but have yet to unmask the lucky lady’s identity. The two have allegedly been seen walking around the campus arm-in-arm. So far, the couple has been seen shopping at Williams-Sonoma together and discussing Owen Wilson's relationship with Kate Hudson at the local Starbucks.

These aren't the only matters the couple was found discussing, apparently they were seen sitting outside a local cafe discussing the fall of the economy and existential issues. After reading that, I was inclined to quickly dismiss all the rumors about the couple. First off, Wilson's bank account isn't exactly in danger of being in the red anytime soon so I doubt he'd be too concerned about the fall of the economy. And existential issues? What is this - a scene from I Heart Huckabees?

And here I was thinking that students at womens' college are feminists looking to change and better the world. I think those lonely Bryn Mawr girls need to take a step out of the women's college and find some lovin' off campus - maybe that will give them some perspective on life and stop them from living vicariously through a fellow student.

How are you reporting this nonsense? I mean that article was 1) written in april (even if a poorly fact checking editor put it up the other day) 2) made up the people they quote (I know b/c I know one of the girls who helped write the story) and 3) Luke Wilson is not even in town. Hasn't been in a month. Try doing research. Posted 07/04/2008 07:35 AMReply

Though the allegations may be true, this article is from the April Fools' edition of the paper and has now been marked as such. I apologize for the confusion - it's entirely due to sloppiness on my part.
