Red Wings Take Cup
Hockey season has finally ended (now we're waiting on you, NBA playoffs) and the Detroit Red Wings are going home with the cup.  The Stanley Cup Playoff series between the Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins was pushed to a sixth game after the Penguins clinched game five in triple overtime, bringing the series to a 3-2 Detroit lead.  Tonight, the Red Wings defeated Pittsburgh 3-2 to end the playoffs.  Henrik Zetterberg, of the Wings, was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy (Playoffs MVP).  This is the fourth time the Detroit Red Wings have won the Stanley Cup in the past eleven seasons.

You sir... are a ****ing douchebag. From 1996 to 2007 the Wings sold out 397 straight games. So please... shut the **** up. We did it way before you ****s were so bandwagon that you almost lost your goddamn team. Pittsburgh fans are so shitty. Thank god for Mario and Sid 'cause you guys are NOTHING without a superstar. The most bandwagon sports town in the country=Pittsburgh. You bragging about selling out games is like praising Bulls fans for being dedicated during the nineties. Oh yeah, except for I guess the fact that Jordan was actually winning championships. Christ. Posted 06/08/2008 10:39 AMReply
