Seven SU students are balling their eyes out today as they withdrawl their summer savings to pay back the Record Industry Association of America for swiping music and movie files.

The Daily Orange reports the pirates aka "John Does" must pay $3,000 in settlement fees each to the RIAA, otherwise the fines increase. The RIAA filed the "John Doe" lawsuits against the students for illegally distributing copyrighted files on the Internet through everyone's best friend, LimeWire. Only SU knows the identities of the accused.
