At a big school, people assume that they will never run into the people whom they want to avoid. Unfortunately, that never seems to be the case. These are the 10 people you do not want to run into on campus:

1. That boy/girl who you met at that party and he/she remembers you...but you definitely don't remember him/her
2. Your awkward European T.A. from last semester
3. Your ex-roommate--you know, the one who you never really knew, the one who you sat in the same room as--in silence--for a full school year
4. Any casual acquaintance from high school
5. Professors who know your name and want to make small talk
6. An ex-boyfriend/girlfriend--you always seem to run into them on the day when you just didn't care about looking good
7. People who you know...but you don't know if you should say hi. Maybe just a smile is in order? Maybe a head nod? Who knows.
8. The person who you made fun of via Facebook one day earlier--don't lie, you know you've done it
9. That creeper who may or may not be stalking you...but let's face it, when you see someone 5+ times a day by "coincidence," they probably are stalking you
10. Anyone asking you if you have time for the environment/asking for your vote/holding a clipboard/holding a sign/etc.
