The Eugene network statistics on Facebook say it all about the town that surrounds the University of Oregon.

Only here would five of the top bands/musicians be Sublime, Jack Johnson, Coldplay, Pink Floyd and Bob Marley. Oh yeah, and there's that whole thing about liberal being the most popular "listed" political view, but that's probably to be expected in a college town. One of our most popular groups is, of course, "Americans Who Think George W. Bush is a Retard." No complaints there...

Maybe the funniest part is that the nearby networks section lists Jersey Shore, NJ. If you've looked at a map lately -- even if it's been a while -- you're probably aware that Jersey is a little outside of the "nearby" category.

Is it possible there's another Eugene out there? No, it's not. There could never be another Eugene. It's up to you whether that's a good thing or not.
