The football team may have the weekend off, but it's still a huge weekend for Carolina athletics. (Italicized events are worth points for Carolina Fever)
Friday
Men's Soccer vs. South Carolina, 5 PM, Fetzer Field
After wins against FIU and VCU last weekend, Carolina men's soccer looks to continue the streak.
Women's Soccer vs. Notre Dame, 7 PM, Fetzer Field
This should be a great game--Notre Dame knocked Carolina out of the NCAA tournament last year, while Carolina beat the Fighting Irish in the 2006 NCAA championship game.
Women's Volleyball vs. Missouri State, 7 PM, Dean Dome
Women's volleyball has their first home game in the Smith Center (due to construction in Carmichael) as part of the annual Carolina Classic tournament.
Saturday
Women's Volleyball vs. Georgetown, noon, Dean Dome
Women's Volleyball vs. Davidson, 7 PM, Dean Dome
Holy crap, that is a lot of volleyball.
Sunday
Men's Soccer vs. UCLA, 1 PM, Fetzer Field
This game is going to be intense. The Tar Heels are currently ranked No. 15, while the Bruins sit at No. 14.
Field Hockey vs. Georgetown, 1 PM, Henry Stadium
I'm still a little bit in shock that the field hockey team fell to Iowa this past weekend. Hopefully the Heels can pull away with a win this Sunday though--the start of the UNC field hockey season will be the highlight of my weekend.
Women's Soccer vs. Kentucky, 3 PM, Fetzer Field
