Who they are:  We've all seen them.  They're decked from head to toe in Carolina blue Nike gear: sweatsuits, t-shirts, shorts, hats, backpacks, sneakers.  Most likely, by the time they graduate they will have enough clothing to last a lifetime.  Soccer players, swimmers, fencers, rowers, fockey players (we'll put basketball players and football players in their own categories), etc--just passing by them, they make you think that maybe it's time to hit up the gym.  They manage to balance being full-time athletes and regular students.  They compete, they study, they even party (props to the wrestling team, by the way).

Why we love them: What's not to love?  We non-athletes get to watch them compete whenever we want.  Plus, they win championships.

Why we love to hate them: Jealousy mostly.
