There are some great events to keep you busy all weekend. Friday night is the return of a great tradition, The Great Underwear Dash. The eighth installment of the Undie Dash will start at 11:59 pm at the French Fries behind the hub. Runners are asked to stay campus-side on University Ave. for their safety.

The event is held to donate clothes to local shelters and to get a bunch of people together to run in their underwear. Everybody wins! Click here for more info.

You can spend Saturday and Sunday at the Alachua County Fairgrounds for the Real Big Deal Music Festival. The event will feature over 60 bands including Motion City Soundtrack, Mates of State, Drive-By Truckers and 57 other bands you’ve probably never heard of. If that's not enough music for you, the band Cartel and Yung Joc will be invading Flavet Field on campus Sunday night at 7:00 pm. The show is free but since it's on campus, alcohol is prohibited. 

And for news on a not-so-upcoming event. Keeping with the classic rock thing they have going on, this year’s Gator Growl will be headlined by the Steve Miller Band. Opening for them will be comedian, Jon Reep. The event will take place on Oct. 24 but be sure to get your tickets early if you want good seats.
