Junior tight end Will Yeatman and freshman center Mike Golic Jr. were arrested this past weekend in addition to 39 other people when police stormed an on campus party. The two were cited for consuming alcohol as minors (in college? Get out!) and other members of the Notre Dame’s soccer and lacrosse teams were arrested as well.

If the name Mike Golic sounds familiar, that’s because you might know his father, ex-NFLer Mike Golic Sr. of ESPN’s Mike and Mike in the Morning. I’m sure he never did anything like this when he was back in school, so Mike Jr. is assuredly in for a stern talking to. Also chiming in is Charlie Weis with little to say at this point.

“I was made aware of the situation early this afternoon and am currently looking into the matter.”

Kids were drinking at a college party. Alert the media! It should only be news when athletes start exposing themselves.
