Sarah Palin Once Was a TV Anchor - But Does She Have a Future in TV?

Sarah Palin was once a TV sports anchor, but do people want to see Sarah back on TV? No, most don't. A recent poll by CNN.com revealed that of 8500 people, only 12% believe that Sarah Palin should have her own television show.  Apparently, 88% of those polled are rational human beings, and hope to never see her again.  However, based on the recent election results, it's very scary that more people would rather see Sarah Palin responsible for the Vice Presidency of our country than give her the responsibility of hosting her own television show.

I can't believe we have higher standards for TV show hosts than for our own Vice President.  Apparently, most people don't care who is making policy decisions as long as they don't intrude on their time to watch "My Super Sweet Sixteen" or "Celebrity Fit Club."  However, if it means that Sarah Palin doesn't have any influence on the policies of any U.S. state, then by all means, we should demand that the woman gets her own TV show.

After the election, many McCain aides have divulged information portraying Sarah Palin as a complete diva, so her transition into a big-headed celebrity may not be so difficult. Just to help get the ball rolling, here are some potential television opportunities I hope Sarah Palin considers...

1. Replacing Angela on 'The Office': Despite the difference in looks, Sarah has the cold, conservative, bitch angle that wouldn't require any acting on her part.

2. Co-hosting Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe: No one can handle getting massively shit on better than Sarah.

3. Sarah Palin in anything on the History Channel: Because everyone is interested to hear how good of friends Adam and Mr.T-Rex really were.

4. Starring in the remake of the 1956 TV show, "Maverick": Although there is significant risk she'll get type-casted.

5. Host of "Candid Camera": Because just like the people who get pranked, Sarah is really good at making people laugh without even trying.
