Potty Practice in NYC's Madison Square Park

In honor of National Bathroom Reading Month (yes, that's actually a holiday), golden plungers are being used to decorate the outside of an automated public toilet today at Madison Square Park.

This morning two hot ladies stood outside this coin-operated toilet to give anyone a free flush, provided they were willing and able.

And, while enjoying a courtesy flush why not enjoy a complimentary mini bathroom reader? According to the hosts, MSP's public potty is such a sanitized spot, you'll actually want to stay and sit for a while.

Yup, in honor of the celebration, the fellas at the Bathroom Readers Institute published Uncle John’s Triumphant 20th Anniversary Bathroom Reader. The new edition contains a montage of topics, ranging from sports to fads to international affairs to food, perfect for a potty purveyor.

It is now evident how people win Trivial Pursuit;  they read Uncle John’s!

You really have to appreciate BRI for taking the opportunity to educate those in their most vulnerable state (especially those seated with their pants down).  As many frequent and long-sitting bathroom goers may know, BRI has created over 50 different Uncle John's Readers that are sure to delight.

This explains why dad spends so many hours in the can each week.

Of course these books were intended for a private sanctuary, but who says you can’t venture out of the loo with book in hand?  This is on my top beach reads for the summer. With its quick, easy to read sections I can break at any point and reapply sunscreen.

I must say, bathroom material really can't get any better.

I lived in Germany for a time. This article certainly brought back the memory of always having to need a dime or a quarter (of course the Deutsch marks, etc.)to hop into a toiletten....Clever photo by the way of the gold painted plungers. Cute. Posted 06/23/2008 1:58 PMReply
