This summer forget the flesh, vampires are dead sexy. Between Stephanie Meyer’s book Twilight and HBO’s new show, True Blood, we are entering a new realm of vampire fetishes.

Twilight, a young adult novel, is getting picked up by women of all ages. The story follows a lusty teen who falls for a dark and dirty vampire. Let’s just say they do more than kiss, making it a hot read for sexually frustrated women everywhere. The book is also being made into a film starring Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory from Harry Potter).

HBO’s series True Blood, set to air in September promises to provide more vampire/human sex. The series stars Anna Paquin and depicts a world where vampires are integrated into human society with the introduction of a synthetic blood beverage. HBO’s viral marketing campaign is giving vampire freaks everywhere something to jack off to.
