College Gameday, the ESPN college football show that features one marquee matchup per week, is coming to Autzen this Saturday to host the Ducks-Bears game. This isn't just a huge game for 11th-ranked Oregon because of who we are playing (Cal is currently ranked 6th), but also because the game will be televised on ABC and watched closely by pollsters and top recruits from all around the country.

This is Oregon's big chance to prove that they are one of the elite programs in the country, and that they have a legit chance at playing in the Rose Bowl in January. If Oregon wins every game except the USC game, and USC goes undefeated, Oregon would almost definitely get a Rose Bowl berth.

Gameday airs from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on ESPN, so be sure to get a good night's sleep on Friday; you've got plenty of partying to do bright and early on Saturday. Hopefully Oregon fans will still be partying when the game is over... and then we can start talking Rose Bowls in Eugene again.
