Timberline Lodge may have the only year-round snow riding in the US, but a common saying around Oregon states that "Timberline is for Tourists!"  The locals often complain about the Burton-wearing suburbanites from around the US crowding the local trails, so during the winter the true Oregonians ride at Mt. Hood Meadows.  The snow is always fresh and pipe is always carved.
