“Don’t judge a book by its cover.” As it turns out, this old adage might not be true after all.

According to a new study from Durham University, you can tell by looking at someone’s face if they are into one night stands or long-term relationships. That’s right, ladies and gents; you don’t even need to talk to a person to find out if they want mindless sex or marriage. That should make cruising for potential flings on Thursday nights a lot easier for some of you.

Here’s how it works:

Ladies, if a guy has a square jaw, small eyes and a large nose, run away because he most likely just wants to get in your pants and be done with you. However, if he has more feminine features, he most likely wants your hand in marriage. So those girls that are into tough, manly jocks are **** out of luck. Sorry! As for the gents, if a girl has large lips and big eyes, she totally just wants to bed sheets wrestle. If you’re into that sort of thing, then have at you, but wear a condom!

Honestly, I question the validity of this study. They surveyed a bunch of college kids and asked them to determine if a person was into lust or love. There are only two options to choose from, so how do we know they just didn’t guess correctly on most of them? Eh, whatever. I probably shouldn’t argue with research that allows me to be as superficial and vain as I want to be.
