So, based on all the feedback received on the post about the Alsop House (none), it has been decided that Cool Spots Around Campus will continue as a column, highlighting all the mostest fantabuloustest things to doest around the Wesleyan campusest.

Too often the refrain is heard around campus that "There's nothing to do in Middletown." Well, this column intends to show that there is lots to do in Middletown and the surrounding area! Case in point: The Katharine Hepburn Grave.*

Did you catch any of the Katharine Hepburn Film Series, held this summer at the CFS? Aching for something a little more tangible than 2-D images on a movie screen? Well, look no further than the grave of Katharine Hepburn!

There is lots to do at this attraction, so you should plan at least 2 hours for the complete experience. Located just 25 minutes north of the Wesleyan campus in Section 10 of Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford. Open from 7 a.m. until dusk daily.
